요일 계산기란?

과거·미래의 특정 날짜가 무슨 요일인지 확인하고, 오늘(또는 지정한 기준일)로부터 N일 후 혹은 N일 전이 몇 월 며칠 무슨 요일인지도 함께 계산합니다. 약속·기념일·마감일 계획에 유용합니다.

계산 방법

입력한 날짜를 UTC 자정 기준으로 정규화한 뒤 자바스크립트 Date.getDay()로 요일 인덱스(0=일요일 ~ 6=토요일)를 구해 한국어 요일명으로 변환합니다.

N일 후/전은 기준일에 밀리초 단위로 N×24시간을 더하거나 빼서 결과 날짜를 구합니다.

What is a weekday finder?

This tool finds the day of the week for any past or future date, and also calculates the date and weekday N days after or before a reference date — handy for planning appointments, anniversaries, and deadlines.

How it is calculated

The input date is normalized to UTC midnight, then JavaScript's Date.getDay() returns a weekday index (0=Sunday to 6=Saturday), which is mapped to its name.

Note: "N days after/before" adds or subtracts N × 24 hours in milliseconds from the reference date.

How is the weekday for a date calculated?

The date is normalized to UTC midnight, then its weekday index (0=Sunday to 6=Saturday) is computed and mapped to a name. Past and future dates use the same method.

How is the N-days-after/before date calculated?

The number of days (N) is added to or subtracted from the reference date, and the resulting date's weekday is shown as well. A negative N automatically computes a date in the past.

Is it accurate for far past or future dates?

Calculations follow the Gregorian calendar including leap-year rules, so dates spanning decades or centuries remain accurate.
