- Inputs are computed only in your browser. Figures you enter (salary, date of birth, etc.) are not sent to any server; the calculation happens entirely on your device.
- A fast, lightweight static site. No app install and no sign-up — a web browser is all you need.
- Tuned to Korea. Tax, payroll and real-estate logic is designed around domestic laws and rates.
- Changes are public. Tool additions, improvements, fixes and known limitations are logged in date order on the Changelog page.

Calqu strives to keep results accurate. However, figures that depend on policy — tax rates, deduction thresholds and the like — can change each year as laws and notices are revised. We update these policy-dependent calculators to reflect the latest standards and label the applicable base year on each page.

4-1. Editorial & Review Policy
Figures that depend on policy — tax, labor and finance figures in particular — are written based on official sources such as the National Tax Service, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Bank of Korea, the National Pension Service and the National Health Insurance Service, and each calculator or guide page states the reference date or applicable year for those figures.
When a rate or policy is revised, we update the single shared rate data file used across the site and then regenerate every page that depends on it. This prevents the mismatch of one calculator being updated while other pages are left showing outdated figures.

Calqu is run by a single developer, Yuseong Jeong, who personally handles planning, development, content writing, and fact-checking.
