전기요금은 어떻게 계산되나요?
전기요금은 월 사용량(kWh)에 따라 기본요금과 전력량요금이 누진 구간별로 계산되고, 여기에 기후환경요금과 연료비조정액이 더해져 전기요금계가 산출됩니다. 이 금액에 부가가치세 10%와 전력산업기반기금 3.7%를 더하면 최종 청구액이 됩니다.

기본요금은 사용량이 속한 최고 구간 기준으로 1건만 부과되며, 전력량요금은 구간별 사용량에 각 구간 단가를 곱해 누적 합산합니다.
기후환경요금·연료비조정액이란?
기후환경요금은 신재생에너지 의무이행·온실가스 배출권 비용 등을 사용량(kWh)에 비례해 부과하는 요금이며, 연료비조정액은 연료비 변동분을 분기별로 반영하는 요금으로 한전 고시에 따라 변동됩니다. 본 계산기에서는 연료비조정액을 직접 입력해 조정할 수 있습니다.
How is the electricity bill calculated?
The base charge and energy charge are computed by progressive usage brackets, then a climate/environment charge and fuel cost adjustment are added to get the subtotal. A 10% VAT and 3.7% power industry fund are added on top for the final billed amount.
3-tier progressive rate table (residential, 2026)
Up to 200kWh: 910 KRW base + 120.0 KRW/kWh. 201–400kWh: 1,600 KRW base + 214.6 KRW/kWh. Over 400kWh: 7,300 KRW base + 307.3 KRW/kWh. Only the highest applicable base charge is billed; energy charges accumulate per bracket.
What are the climate charge and fuel adjustment?
The climate/environment charge reflects renewable energy obligations and emission costs proportional to usage. The fuel cost adjustment reflects quarterly fuel price changes per KEPCO notice; you can adjust it manually here.
