슬러그 생성기란?

슬러그(slug)는 블로그 글·상품 페이지 등의 URL에 쓰이는, 소문자·숫자·구분기호로만 이루어진 짧은 문자열입니다. 이 도구는 제목을 입력하면 실시간으로 소문자화·공백 제거·특수문자 치환을 거쳐 깔끔한 슬러그를 만들어 줍니다.

한글 처리 옵션 설명
  • 로마자 변환(간이): 한글 자모를 초성·중성·종성 단위로 분해해 로마자로 근사 변환합니다(정식 표기법의 간략 근사치).
  • 원문 유지: 한글을 그대로 슬러그에 남깁니다.
  • 제거: 한글 문자를 모두 삭제합니다. 한글만 있는 입력은 결과가 빈 문자열이 될 수 있습니다.

What is this tool?

A slug is a short URL-friendly string of lowercase letters, digits and delimiters, used in blog post or product URLs. Type a title and this tool lowercases it, trims spaces, and replaces special characters in real time.

Korean handling options
  • Romanize (simplified): decomposes Hangul into leading/vowel/trailing components and approximates them in Latin letters (a simplified approximation of the official system).
  • Keep original: leaves Korean characters in the slug as-is.
  • Remove: deletes all Korean characters — an all-Korean input can result in an empty slug.

What is a slug?
A slug is a short URL-friendly string of lowercase letters, digits and hyphens (or underscores) used in blog post or product URLs. For example, "Hello World!" becomes "hello-world" — a clean, search-engine-friendly address.
How is Korean text handled?
There are three options: "Romanize" converts Hangul into a simplified Latin approximation, "Keep original" leaves Korean characters as-is, and "Remove" deletes all Korean characters. Romanization is a simplified approximation — double-check for official documents.
Should I use a hyphen or underscore?
Hyphens (-) are generally recommended for web addresses for readability and search engines. Underscores (_) are offered for systems that prefer them, such as some filename conventions.
Can the result come out empty?
If you choose "Remove" for Korean and the input is entirely Korean characters and spaces, nothing is left after removal, so the result is an empty string. Try "Keep original" or "Romanize" instead.
