정규식 테스터란?

정규식 테스터는 정규표현식 패턴과 플래그를 테스트 문자열에 즉시 적용해 매치 구간을 하이라이트하고, 그룹 캡처까지 표로 보여주는 도구입니다. 유효성 검사 패턴 작성·디버깅, 로그·텍스트 파싱 규칙 검증에 유용합니다.

What is a regular expression?
A regular expression is a notation for finding or validating patterns in strings — used for email/phone format checks, text replacement, log parsing, and more, supported by nearly every programming language including JavaScript.
What do flags like g, i, m mean?
Flags change matching behavior. g (global) finds all matches instead of just the first; i (ignoreCase) ignores case; m (multiline) makes ^ and $ match each line's start/end; s (dotAll) makes . match newlines too; u (unicode) processes by Unicode code point.
How do I check group captures?
Wrapping part of a pattern in parentheses ( ) creates a group; each match then captures that group's substring separately. This tool lists the full match and each group's captured value in the match table.
Can I see multiple matches without the g flag?
