Coin Flip

동전 던지기란?

동전 던지기는 순서·선공/후공·둘 중 하나를 고르는 결정을 앞면(Heads) 또는 뒷면(Tails)으로 무작위로 내려 주는 도구입니다. 1개부터 10개까지 동전을 한 번에 던질 수 있고, 각 동전은 뒤집히는 애니메이션과 함께 결과 면에 정착합니다.

사용 방법

동전 개수를 고르고 던지기를 누르면 각 동전이 여러 바퀴 회전하며 뒤집히다가 앞면 또는 뒷면으로 멈춥니다. 개수가 많아져도 화면이 세로로 늘어지지 않도록 자동으로 격자 형태로 배치됩니다.

모든 결과는 브라우저의 암호학적 난수(crypto)로 뽑으며, 리젝션 샘플링으로 나머지 편향을 제거해 앞면과 뒷면이 정확히 50:50의 확률을 갖습니다. 입력값과 결과는 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

What is this?

Coin Flip decides between two options — who goes first, heads or tails — at random. Flip 1 to 10 coins at once, each one spinning through a 3D flip animation before landing on Heads or Tails.

How to use it

Choose the number of coins and press Flip. Each coin spins several times before settling on its result. As the count grows, coins are arranged in a balanced grid so the layout never gets too tall.

Fair & private

Every result uses the browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto) with rejection sampling to remove modulo bias, giving heads and tails exactly a 50:50 chance. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
