What is the subscription score system?
Korea's housing subscription score system ranks applicants by summing no-home period (32 points), dependents (35 points), and subscription account period (17 points), for a maximum of 84 points. A higher score gives priority.
No-home period score table
Score rises by 2 points per full year of no-home status, from 2 points (under 1 year) up to 32 points (15+ years). Current homeowners score 0 on this item.
Dependents score table
5 points base plus 5 points per dependent (excluding the applicant), up to 35 points at 6 or more dependents. Dependents are household members registered with the applicant, such as a spouse or lineal relatives.
Subscription account period score table (incl. spouse)
The applicant's own account scores 1 point under 6 months, rising to 17 points at 15+ years (roughly 1 point per additional year after the first). A spouse's account period, converted at 50%, adds up to 3 extra points, but the combined account-item total never exceeds 17 points.
