Edit & Convert Guide

When a photo is too large for an email attachment limit, the image compressor shrinks the file while keeping quality loss to a minimum, and basic touch-ups like cropping, rotating and flipping are all handled by the image editor.

Want a lighter WebP or AVIF for a website? Use the format converter. Need to join several screenshots into one long vertical image? Use the image stitcher.

When only part of an ID or document photo needs to be hidden — a personal-info section — the mosaic & pixelate tool lets you select just that area and blur it, and the processed image can't be reversed back to the original.

A common mistake when compressing an image is cranking the ratio all the way up and losing noticeable quality — unless it's for print, a moderate setting usually looks nearly the same, so it's better to watch size and quality together and stop just under the attachment limit. When stitching several screenshots, differing background colors or margins make the seams obvious; cropping the margins to match first makes the join far less visible. Mosaic can't be undone, so keep the original file somewhere else — without it, adjusting which area gets blurred later means starting over.
