Office Files Guide

When a CSV downloaded from a partner or government site opens in Excel with Korean turned into symbols like "¿ì¸®", the CSV encoding fixer detects the file's encoding and re-saves it as UTF-8 with BOM, which Excel reads correctly, or as EUC-KR for older software.

When an Excel file needs to become CSV or JSON for another program, or CSV/JSON data needs to become an Excel file to send to a colleague, the Excel converter lets you pick a sheet and convert it to the format you need.

When someone sends you a Hangul (HWP/HWPX) or Word (DOCX) document and you have no program to open it, the HWP & Word viewer opens it without any install so you can read, print or save it as PDF.

None of these tools uploads your file. The file you choose is read and converted only inside this browser, so documents that company security rules keep off outside converter sites are fine here, and a page you have opened keeps working even if the connection drops.

Garbled Korean in a CSV is usually an encoding label problem, not damaged data. Excel reads a UTF-8 CSV without a BOM using the Korean Windows default (the EUC-KR family), so the data is intact but displays wrong. A file already re-saved while garbled can be hard to recover, so convert the original CSV here first and only then open it in Excel.
