Tournament Bracket Maker

Auto-generate a tournament bracket from entrants.

Use each round header's Advance to set players advancing per match, and Shuffle / Undo to reorder that round's matchups. Tap a round-1 slot's Name button to enter a player. (Set players-per-match to 3+ for multi-player matches.)

What is this interactive bracket?

Add participants straight into round 1 with Add player and edit names inline. Click a player chip in a match to pick the winner — they advance to the next round live. Click again to deselect. Changing an earlier winner automatically resets and recomputes all later-round picks.

Players per match & per-round advancement

Set players per match (2–8) for multi-player matches. Each round header has an Advance N control so you can decide, per round, how many players per match move on (e.g. round 1: top 2 of a 4-player match → round 2: top 1). Changing a round's advancement recomputes that round onward.

Byes, shuffle & saving
  • Leftover players who don't fill a full match get an automatic bye and advance without an opponent.
  • Shuffle reseeds round 1 with a cryptographically-random Fisher-Yates shuffle.
  • Players, settings, per-round advancement and winner picks are saved in your browser for your next visit.
How do I advance a winner?
Click the winning player's chip in a match to mark them as the winner; they advance to the next round live. Click again to deselect. If you change a winner in an earlier round, all later-round picks are automatically reset and recomputed.
Can I change players per match and how many advance?
Yes. Set players per match (2–8) at the top for multi-player matches, and use the ‘Advance N’ control in each round header to set, per round, how many players per match move on — e.g. round 1 advances the top 2 of a 4-player match, round 2 advances 1.
What if the count isn't a multiple of the match size?
Leftover players who can't fill a full match get an automatic bye and advance without an opponent. Bye players are shown with a ‘Bye’ badge.
Is my work saved? Is anything sent to a server?
Your player list, match settings, per-round advancement and winner picks are saved only in your browser's local storage and restored on your next visit. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
