Metronome & Tuner
A metronome with BPM, time signature and accents, plus a mic-based instrument tuner.
Tap tempo measures BPM from your taps — press the button a few times in rhythm.
Turn on the microphone and play a note — the tuner shows the note name and how many cents sharp or flat it is.
What is the Metronome & Tuner?
A metronome (30–300 BPM with time signatures, accents and tap tempo) and a microphone-based instrument tuner on one page. No install needed — set the beat, then tune up and start practicing.
How to use
On the Metronome tab, set the BPM with the slider, the number box or the −/+ buttons and press Start. Pick a time signature from 2/4 to 6/8 and the dots below show each beat, lighting up the current one. Tap tempo averages the gaps between your taps; after a pause of more than two seconds it starts over.
On the Tuner tab, press Start tuner, allow the microphone and play one string at a time. When the needle sits in the green centre zone (within ±5 cents) the note is in tune. Choose guitar, ukulele or bass to see the nearest string. The reference pitch (A4) can be set between 430 and 450 Hz.
Tips for accuracy
The tuner works best in a quiet room with one note at a time. Very quiet sounds are ignored, so hold the instrument close to the microphone. Bluetooth earbuds add delay, so the click may sound late — wired earphones or speakers are better.
