About the E-Stamp Maker and PDF stamper

Type a name to make a round, square or oval stamp as a transparent PNG, then place it anywhere on a PDF and save. Making the stamp and stamping the PDF are two tabs on one page, so there is nothing to install.

Characters are set vertically and read from the right column, following the usual seal convention. Fonts are open-licence (OFL) and free for commercial use, and the bleed and wear texture gives a hand-stamped look. PDF pages are rendered with pdf.js and saved with pdf-lib.

How to use

On the Make a stamp tab choose a name, shape, font and color, then press Save PNG. To stamp a PDF, open the Stamp a PDF tab, upload the file, drag the stamp into place, set the size and press Stamp and save.

Privacy and legal effect

Everything runs inside your browser; your files and name are never sent to a server.

An image stamp is not a certified or accredited electronic signature under Korean law and is valid only where the other party accepts it. For important contracts, confirm with a registered seal or an e-signature service.

Are my PDF or my name sent to a server?
No. Drawing the stamp, previewing the PDF, placing the stamp and saving all happen inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and closing the page clears your work.
Does an image stamp have legal effect?
This tool only produces an image; it is not a certified or accredited electronic signature under Korean law. It works only where the other party accepts an image stamp, so for important contracts confirm with a registered seal or an e-signature service. If the recipient requires a specific method, follow that.
In what order are the characters placed?
Following the usual Korean seal convention, text runs vertically and is read from the right column first. Two characters go top to bottom; three go in one column or two on the right and one on the left; four form a 2×2 grid in the order top right, bottom right, top left, bottom left. Characters are placed in the order you type them.
What size should the stamp be?
Personal seals are commonly around 12 to 18 mm across, so the default is 15 mm. Forms and recipients differ, so follow their guidance if given. The slider uses real PDF millimeters (1 mm is about 2.835 pt).
Is the stamp PNG transparent?
Yes. The saved PNG has a transparent background, so only the strokes appear over a document. The checkerboard is just a preview aid and is not in the file. You can choose 512 px or 1024 px.
How do I line the stamp up with a signature box?
Drag the stamp onto the box in the preview and nudge it with the arrow keys; clicking the page moves the stamp there. To stamp the same spot on several pages, turn on the all-pages option. Rotated pages are stamped in the orientation you see. The result downloads as originalname_stamped.pdf and your original stays untouched.
