App Icon Generator

Generate full iOS & Android app icon sets from one image.

Files never leave your device · Processed in your browser

What is this?

Takes one source image, high-quality resizes it onto a browser canvas at every required size, and bundles all iOS & Android app-icon PNGs into a single ZIP — no upload needed, download instantly.

How to use it

Pick or drop a square 1024×1024+ image and a large live preview appears at once. Use drag (move) · wheel/slider (zoom) · rotate slider to frame it, choose platforms and background, then press Generate icon set. Your transform is applied to every size. On the result screen you can download the full ZIP or the 1024/512 PNGs individually.

iOS background

iOS app icons are rejected if they contain alpha. Even with 'Transparent', this tool fills iOS icons white to avoid rejection. Android launcher icons keep transparency.

How does the app icon generator work?
Your source image is high-quality resized onto a browser canvas at every required size and exported as PNGs, then bundled into a single ZIP. A square image of 1024×1024 or larger is recommended.
Which sizes are included?
iOS gets an AppIcon.appiconset folder with 20·29·40·58·60·76·80·87·120·152·167·180·1024 PNGs plus Contents.json. Android gets mipmap-mdpi(48)/hdpi(72)/xhdpi(96)/xxhdpi(144)/xxxhdpi(192) ic_launcher.png files plus a 512×512 Play Store icon.
Can iOS icons be transparent?
No. The App Store rejects app icons with an alpha channel, so iOS icons must be filled with white or a chosen color. Even if you pick 'Transparent', this tool fills iOS icons white to prevent rejection. Android launcher icons keep transparency.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Loading, resizing, ZIP creation and downloading all happen in your browser only — nothing is sent or stored on a server. The ZIP is built in the browser too.
