Generate & Verify

Generate and verify — UUID, hash, JWT decoder, regex tester, random numbers.

Generate & Verify Guide

Need a unique value for a database primary key or session ID? The UUID generator produces any number of v4 UUIDs at once, and the hash generator compares MD5/SHA values to check whether a file got corrupted in transit.

Curious what's inside a login token? Paste it into the JWT decoder to read the header and payload directly, without signature verification. Writing a new regex is easier in the regex tester, where you feed sample strings and watch matches update live as you refine the pattern.

When you need test data, the random number generator picks random numbers within a range and count you set, saving you from typing out mock values by hand.

Comparing hash values by eye is a common mistake — a long SHA-256 string makes a single differing character nearly impossible to spot, so it's safer to copy the full string and check it with a comparison feature or the text diff tool. Remember the JWT decoder only reads the content without verifying the signature — deciding whether a token is genuine or forged still needs separate server-side verification. When writing a new regex, it's tempting to test only strings that should match; testing strings that shouldn't match too catches patterns that are accidentally too broad before they cause trouble.
