Random Number Generator

Generate random numbers by range and count.

What is this?

Random Number Generator draws a chosen count of random numbers from a minimum–maximum range you set. Useful for raffles, survey sampling, or picking numbers for practice problems — anywhere you need numbers from a specific range.

How to use it

Set the range with Minimum and Maximum, and choose how many to draw with Count. Turn on No duplicates to prevent the same number appearing twice — in that case Count can't exceed the number of values in the range. Use Sort to display results in drawn order, ascending, or descending, and Copy result to copy straight to the clipboard.

Fair & private

Each number comes from the browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto) with rejection sampling to remove modulo bias, so every value in the range is equally likely. Nothing is sent to a server.

Note: For a fixed 1–45, pick-6-without-duplicates rule, the Lotto Number Generator is simpler.
Are the numbers fairly random?
Yes. Numbers come from the browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), with rejection sampling to remove modulo bias so every value in the range is equally likely. Math.random is only used as a fallback where crypto isn't available.
What's the difference between allowing and disallowing duplicates?
With duplicates allowed, each draw is independent so the same number can appear more than once. With duplicates disallowed, already-drawn numbers are excluded, so no number repeats. If Count exceeds how many values exist in the range, drawing without duplicates isn't possible and an error is shown.
Can I sort the results?
Yes. Choose to display results in drawn order, ascending, or descending. Sorting only changes the display — the drawn numbers themselves don't change.
How is this different from the Lotto Number Generator?
The Lotto Number Generator is a fixed rule: pick 6 unique numbers from 1–45. This tool lets you freely set the range, how many to draw, and whether duplicates are allowed, so it fits raffles, survey sampling, practice-problem numbering, and more.
