What is this dictionary?

The Emoji & Special Character Dictionary lets you pick emoji (faces, people, animals, food, etc.) and special characters (arrows, math, currency, etc.) from titled category sections, collect them in a compose box, and copy them all at once. Everything runs in your browser.

How to use it

1) Use the category buttons to jump to a section or scroll the list. 2) Click any emoji or symbol to append it to the compose box in order. 3) Press Copy all to copy the whole collected string at once; edit the box directly or press Clear to empty it.

Recently used

Copied items are saved in this browser's localStorage, so up to 24 recent items appear in the "Recently used" section on your next visit. This data stays on this device/browser only and is never shared.

FAQ

How do I copy an emoji or symbol?

Click any emoji or symbol button to copy it to your clipboard automatically; a "Copied" message appears on screen. Then just paste it (Ctrl+V) wherever you need.

Can I collect several at once?

Yes. Each emoji or symbol you click is appended to the compose box in order. You can edit the box directly or press Clear to empty it, then Copy all to copy everything.

How are categories organized?

Emoji and symbols are split into titled sections; the category buttons at the top jump to the matching section.

Where can I see recently used items?

Items you copy are saved automatically and shown in the "Recently used" section, newest first, up to 24 items. This data is stored only in this browser and never sent to a server.

Does copying work on mobile?

Yes, tapping a button on a mobile browser copies it to the clipboard the same way. Older browsers without Clipboard API support automatically use a fallback copy method.
