QR Code Generator
Turn a URL or text into a QR code instantly.
What is this?
Turns a URL or text into a QR code you can save as PNG or SVG — for business cards, posters, menus, Wi-Fi notes and more.
How to use it
Type a URL or text and the QR renders live. PNG is for print/images, SVG is vector (scales without blur). Everything runs in your browser.
Permanent & private
This makes a static QR — the data lives in the pattern itself, so it never expires and your input is never sent to a server.
Error correction
- L ~7% · M 15% (recommended) · Q 25% · H 30% damage recovery.
- Higher levels are more robust but denser. Use Q/H for print/outdoor.
FAQ
Do generated QR codes work forever?
Yes. This makes a static QR that stores data in the pattern itself, with no server in between — so it never expires and works even on printed materials. If it holds a URL, that URL page must stay online for the link to open.
My QR won't scan.
Keep a white quiet zone around it, print it large enough (2cm+), ensure strong contrast, and for long content raise the error-correction level or shorten the URL.
What are levels L·M·Q·H?
How much damage the code can recover from: L ~7%, M 15%, Q 25%, H 30%. Higher is more robust but denser. M is a good default; use Q/H for print/outdoor.
Is my input sent to a server?
No. Generation runs entirely in your browser; your URL or text is never uploaded or stored.
Do Korean text and long URLs work?
Yes. Text is UTF-8 encoded and the QR version (size) is auto-selected from 1–40. Very long content becomes dense, so shortening the URL helps.
