Converts value between currencies using an exchange rate, useful for overseas shopping, travel budgets, and remittances. This tool converts every currency through a common KRW base.

How to use it · two modes

Today's rate (auto) — fetches daily-updated reference rates and shows the update time (KST); falls back to ECB reference rates, then example values, if unavailable.

Manual rate — enter your bank's quoted rate directly. Most accurate for real transactions.

Is this exchange rate live?

In "Today's rate (auto)" mode, the tool fetches daily-updated reference rates (Exchange Rate API) and shows the update time. If the fetch fails it falls back to ECB reference rates, then example values. Bank rates differ (spreads, preferential rates); you can also enter a quoted rate in Manual mode.

Why do reference rates differ from my bank's?

Reference rates are interbank indicators; real transactions add each bank's spread and preferential rates. For actual exchanges, check your bank's quoted rate and use Manual mode.

How is the conversion calculated?

Every currency is converted through a common KRW base: result = amount × from-currency KRW rate ÷ to-currency KRW rate.
